Mississippi Pub 4455 66th Street East Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076
651- 455-4975
Tuesday July 10th, 2012
Stopped in with my wife and son. Very pleasant early evening. Looked for specials on Four Square but found nothing. Tried the Shroom and Swiss Burger, the Sampler Platter and Fried Pickles with Mozarella cheese. Not bad. Waitress was very pleasant.
Nice place to spend a peaceful hour. Plenty of wildlife if you like that sort of thing or you can simply sit and watch the boats on the river.
Sunday April 22nd, 2012
You’ll find the Mississippi Pub in the River Heights Marina (the sign says it’s at the 830 mile marker) on the beautiful and scenic Mississippi River in Inver Grove Heights.
The pub is owned and operated by the Harms family who began their unique style of river view service in 1999. There’s a great two-tier deck and patio and an all glass indoor enclosure with a marvelous clear view of the main channel of the Mississippi River. Sit peacefully and enjoy one of the daily special meals and enjoy great drinks and cool cocktails. Bring your camera to capture the picturesque sight of the river and wildlife. The Harms family prides itself on good food and good service.

Eddy’s Bar and Grill 7537 Concord Boulevard Inver Grove Heights MN 55076
651-330-3148
Eddy’s opened its doors on July 11th, 2011. I first remember it when it operated as “Royal Star” a liquidated furniture showroom. That business outgrew the premises and the building was taken over by a variety of small start-ups. One of them was Pirate Pizza. Their sign was up for about a year and when they finally opened, lasted a week or two at most.
Eddy’s is quite popular and has developed a good cachet in the short time it has been operating since July last year. Normal beers are on draft and in bottles. There is a simple menu. Try the sweet potato fries. They’re surprisingly good
