I paid a visit to Mississippi Pub for their Fish Fry Friday on March 27th. I went there with my wife and good neighbor. On Friday’s they serve an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 11: a.m. for $16.00 and from 4:00p.m. onwards, the price is $18.00 per person. Service continues until 8: p.m. although they remain open until 10:00 p.m. The initial plate comes with two pieces of Cod fried in a house recipe batter, Cole slaw, hand cut fried potatoes and a slice of sourdough toasted bread. Drinks are extra. Wait- staff is very friendly.

The restaurant is extremely popular with the local clientele, and you are advised to go early. It’s busy and very noisy; and while this may be considered a drawback, the location in a marina just feet from the Mississippi river is awesome. As the Summer approaches the river will come alive after a long winter freeze, with commercial and pleasure water traffic.
